traderinput — futures trading education

Futures trading. A deeper understanding.

Who we are

TraderInput teaches futures traders to see what is behind every price.

There is an auction behind every chart — an intention, a decision. We teach you to read it and to act with a plan: context, location, order flow, execution, risk and review, as one connected process.

Desk

Prepare before the outcome is known.

A daily preparation routine you can make your own: context, key levels, scenarios — and a reason to wait.

Questions before conclusions.

A convincing chart is only a starting point. We ask what survives clear definitions, realistic costs and unseen data.

THE TRADE IS
ONE PART.
THE PROCESS
IS EVERYTHING.

Context before conviction.

Most traders don’t need another setup. They need a decision process that still works when the market becomes fast, uncertain and emotional.

Explore the approach
02 / The questionsStay with the uncomfortable ones.

YOU KNOW
THE FEELING.

The trade moves against you.
The explanation changes.
Your original plan gets harder to find.

01Being wrong is part of trading.

A reasonable view can still lose. The useful question is whether you knew what would invalidate it — and respected that condition when it arrived.

Before your next replay, finish this sentence: “This idea no longer makes sense if…”

02The need to be right is expensive.

Defending a view and defending your identity are different activities. Searching for confirmation can make an ordinary loss much larger.

Prepare an alternative scenario before committing to your first explanation.

03Does your stop fit the idea?

A comfortable cash amount does not explain where a trading idea fails. First define invalidation; then check whether the resulting exposure fits your limit.

If the smallest position is too large, passing remains an option. A stop order does not guarantee its execution price.

04P&L is an outcome. Process is your work.

One winning trade cannot prove a decision was good. One losing trade cannot prove it was bad.

Record what you knew, what you planned and what you did. Review comparable decisions together.

Decision exercises

DON’T JUST
WATCH.
QUESTION.

A number catches your attention. A story forms. Before you act, ask what the evidence can actually tell you.

02

Location

Give the level a reason.

Understand the auction. Know where an idea matters before asking how to execute it.

03

Order flow

Read the response.

Activity is only half the story. Connect who is trading with what price actually does.

04

Execution

Define the decision.

Separate a plausible view from a complete plan: trigger, entry conditions and invalidation.

Explore execution
05

Risk

Know what the idea can cost.

Make exposure explicit. Passing on a trade belongs in a professional process.

Review

Turn experience into work.

Separate the outcome from the decision, then choose one behaviour to practise.
