KNOW THE RISK
BEFORE THE TRADE.
TraderInput teaches how markets work. It does not tell you what to trade, and nothing here promises a result.
Risk disclosure
READ THIS
FIRST.
Trading risk
Futures and forex trading involves substantial risk and is not suitable for every investor. You could lose all of your initial investment, and with leveraged products you can lose more than you deposited. Risk capital is money you can lose without jeopardizing your financial security or lifestyle. Only risk capital should be used for trading, and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.
Education, not advice
Everything on TraderInput, including guides, tools, examples, the Terminal, newsletters, Trader Training and mentoring, is general education. It is not investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and it is not a recommendation or solicitation to buy or sell any security, futures contract or other instrument. TraderInput does not act as your investment adviser, commodity trading advisor, broker or fiduciary. Decide on your own trades, and consult a licensed professional about your situation.
Simulations and hypothetical results
The Decision Lab, market replays, trainers and examples on this website use synthetic or recorded data, and their results are simulated. They are built for practice, not as evidence of how a strategy will perform.
Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, since the trades have not been executed, the results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profit or losses similar to those shown.
Market data
Charts, quotes and news in the Terminal come from TradingView and may be delayed. Filings and statistics come from the SEC and the CFTC as published. Reference charts can show a related market instead of the exchange-traded contract. Data may be incomplete, late or wrong, and none of it is suitable as the only basis for a trading decision. Check the original source before you act.
